We are hybrid MMA style club which incorporates striking, takedowns, throws, strangles, chokes & submissions, which has been put together from thai boxing, jiu jitsu, wrestling & judo and has a structured grading system so you can progress through the belts to achieve your black belt.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Ashton combat club:
Our instructors are experienced and completely professional and are registered instructors under The British Combat Association. A typical training session involves warm up eg circuit training, thai pad work, techniques standing & groundwork & light sparring which is optional, nobody will be thrown in the deep end and made to spar if this is not what they want from their training but we also- cater for people who want to compete too.
