Aikido is a Japanese martial art which is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it. Aikido techniques include throws, wrist-locks, escapes and other defences. Aikido may be practised by women and men. The Hartland Aikido club has classes in Holsworthy and Bucks Cross, North Devon.

We practise at Bucks Cross Village Hall on Thursday evenings between 7:30 and 9:30. Adult students only (18 and over). We also have classes at Holsworthy Leisure Centre on Fridays at 7:30 to 9:00.
