Sensei Luke was born in London in 1987 and attended Walworth Secondary School in South London. Sensei Luke started to learn karate from the age of 12 with the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB), then having joined various other karate organisations. Sensei Luke decided to join the Japan Karate Association in December 2009.
Sensei Luke obtained his black belt in 2014 and is active on the karate tournament circuit; he has set himself the goal of attaining a place on the JKA England National Squad.
