Minami Kaigan Karate UK was established in 1991 Under the name North Dorset Karate, by Chief instructor and Founder 6th Dan Chris Lewis.
We hold regular weekly classes for all ages, regular gradings and courses in and around Poole and Blandford, and we also attend competitions throughout the year.
All instructors are fully vetted & Insured. We hold enhanced DBS certificates, First aid, and Safeguarding qualifications. We are Members of the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association (BMABA).
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Minami Kaigan Karate UK:
New club recently opened for Tuesday evenings 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm, at Hillbourne Community Centre, Waterloo. Poole BH17 7EY. Classes are for all ages from 6 years old.
Lessons are held at Skinner Street United Reformed Church. Poole, Dorset, on Wednesday's from 6 pm to 7 pm. This class is for all ages from 6 years.
Lessons are also held at Blandford Gymnastics Club, Blandford, Dorset on Thursday's from 7.45 pm to 8.45 pm. This class is suitable for all ages from 6 years.
