Martial Arts. Taught as it should be.
I have 35 years experience in martial arts. Over the years I have had the pleasure to train with Jon. Each time I have come away having learnt something new. He’s a great guy with a true passion for his training and learning. It’s always a pleasure. 🙏.

Instructor John Reed is a knowledgable, personable and passionate instructor.
I would highly recommend Ronin martial arts for anyone looking for a friendly professional ran school.

Excellent really! I haven’t got much experience with martial art school this one is my second one but quality of lessons are much better and it’s really nice to be told how to kick by someone who is so passionate & happy to share knowledge of it. To be honest am loving it 😁

My son loves these classes and leaves beaming after every one.
Jon is a fantastic instructor with the kids and has buckets full of patience.
He makes these class fun and informative at the same time which is what learning Martial arts is all about.
I can’t recommend these classes enough and if you interested, give it a go… what’s stopping you?

My son attends Ronin martial arts children’s class and he loves it !!
Jon is a really good, patient instructor who clearly enjoys working with kids. And the adults!! The classes are fun ( I sometimes want to join in !) great for building confidence my boy can’t wait to go most days!

Good instructor knows his stuff

Having trained privately with Jon for a few years now it's safe to say he knows his stuff.
He has a practical no nonsense approach to self defence.
Patient and understands the basics well.
Jon is a fantastic teacher, he has so much patience with the kids but is firm and instils discipline throughout. My son is 6, and loves it. I’ve watched his confidence blossom since joining and he really really enjoys the classes. I love the structure and work ethic Jon promotes, and classes are always well organised and you get a full hour of training for your money.
I can’t recommend the classes highly enough, and would love to start the adults classes myself!
I hope my son continues with the classes for life!
