Stafford Shotokan Karate was established in 2018. We are family friendly club, run by two qualified voluntary instructors with over 50 years teaching experience.
Whether you are a new starter, relocating from another club or association, returning from a long break in training or you just want to get active; SSK welcomes all and will assist in any way it can to help you on your Karate journey.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Stafford Shotokan Karate:
Sessions are priced at £2.50 per person, and we don’t have any monthly fees. If you come to a class and decide that Karate is not for you, then there is no obligation to return.
Training is currently held on
Wednesday 18:30 to 19:30 - beginners and children
Wednesday 19:30 to 21:00 - adults and grades
We invite anyone that is new to Karate to come and watch a class. In doing so, you will get an understanding of what a session involves, and it will hopefully allow you to feel more comfortable should you decide to join us. We recommend wearing something light to start with, such as jogging bottoms and a t-shirt to allow for stretching and ease of movement.
After attending for around 4 weeks we encourage you to acquire a Gi (the traditional white training suit), which can be purchased locally or online.
