Shiro-No- Judo Kent
Shiro-No Judo Kent (Shiro no zen Judokwai Gravesend) was originally founded in 1957 by Sensei Christopher Hopkinson and was called the Whitefield judo club, and was run by Sensei Hopkinson for over 40 years until his death in 2004.
On the 1st of June 2011 Shiro No Judo Kent (Formerly Shiro-no Zen Judokwai Gravesend).Opened its doors under the Chief Instructor is Christopher’s Oldest Son Andrew who has been an Instructor in judo for many years in both the Army and the Police Service.
As part of the British Judo Association and teach both competitive and non competitive judo to all ages from 5 years to 64+ and now have our Snodland judo club check out our Facebook pages for more information.

Programs & Class Schedule
Shiro No Judo Kent
Opened on the 1st of June 2011 and is run by Sensei Andy Hopkinson, who has been involved in martial arts and self defense for over 30 years.
Training is at Iron House Gym on,Thursday evenings from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm for juniors and 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm for seniors. Sundays session from 12 pm to 1 pm Juniors and 1 pm to 2 pm Seniors. We are open to all ages from 5 years upward .The first two lessons are free.
Our Snodland club is based at the Snodland Community Center and train every Tuesday evenings from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm
Club members ages range from 5 years to 61 years old. So you're never too old to give it a try . We also cover self defense lessons to both adults and children.
Membership
We run a pay as you go or direct debit system. Adults members £6.50 . Junior members £5.50 .
1. We are members of the British Judo Association
2. Junior members are aged 5 up to 16 years.
