Aikido at its best- a dojo well worth joining.

This is a warm and friendly dojo. The quality of the teaching is excellent with plenty of opportunity to train. The formality on the mats embraces the traditions of aikido whilst at the same time allowing a modern enjoyable atmosphere for practice. Safety and well-being are paramount. There are regular courses with visiting and local instructors. The frequency of practice and a monthly training fee offers real value for money. The chief instructor, Bjorn, is enthusiastic and amenable. His teaching is clear and his patience is seemingly endless. I particularly enjoy his passion for his jo and bokken work and the many videos he posts on YouTube to support his students.
