Aka Ryu Ju-Jitsu Renmei was founded 27th August 2002 by Kaicho Stephen Peil 6th Dan Ju-Jitsu. Stephen has been training in Martial arts for 36 years and has 20 + years teaching experience. The classes cover various aspects of throwing, locking, groundwork, weapons and self defence.

Stephen has various grades in several Karate styles, krav maga, thai boxing, kobudo, self defence, taekwondo, escrima and Jeet Kune Do. Stephen also has experience in Judo, Aikido, MMA and kickboxing. Stephen is also a control and restraint instructor with the, ministry of justice.

The club is run Stephen along with his wife who is 5th Dan Ju-Jitsu and also has experience in several martial arts like Stephen. Both instructors are first aid trained, DBS checked and have professional indemnity insurance.
