My daughter started in Allan's class when she was seven years old and has now been going for eighteen months.

She looks forward to classes every Tuesday and Friday, never having to be dragged there! I believe this is because of the excellent tuition and instruction from Allan, who develops each student individually and as a class as a whole.

Allan's patiences and endearing ability to work with kids coupled with his vast knowledge and skills in Tae Kwon Do allows the kids to fulfil their goals and aims in the sport and parents will have the sound knowledge their children are in the safest possible hands when learning self defence skills.

I don't come from Irvine, I drive past 3-4 other TKD classes closer to my home, however I would never consider my daughter attending a class closer to home, as a parent you only want the best for your kids: when it comes to Tae Kwon Do in Ayrshire Allan Lusk is second to none.

My daughter has been training with Allan for a number of years now and I rate him very highly. Allan maintains the highest professional standards and integrity within the club. He maintains a perfect balance between hard work and fun and is able to get the best out the kids. My daughter loves her Tae Kwon Do lessons and I would highly recommend Allan's classes.

I have been involved in TaeKwonDo for many years and I can say that Allan Lusk has one of the most positive attitudes towards the teaching of the art to kids and adults alike. As we all know kids can have a very short attention span and Allan is able to keep them interested by changing the training on a regular basis. Allan is also very good with the adults and is able to train them to bring out the best in all whether it be for gradings or sparing competitions.

My son has been to taught by Allan for over two years now and he has fought in to tournaments and passed all his gradings and he is still only 5years old. He loves it.

Instructor is friendly, excellent, patient and motivating. Great mannerism with children and adults alike. Superior teaching both in essential skills and sparring. No experience no problem at Allan Lusk TaeKwonDo there is no pressure to learn in a short space of time and other members of the class are always keen to help out making this a friendly environment to learn in.

I first discovered Allan's taekwondo class when I looked into finding a martial art for my five year old son to learn. After contacting Allan I took my son along to the class and he was made to feel very welcome by Allan and the other students alike. After a couple of weeks of taking my son to the class I decided to try it myself as all of the students were very friendly and the class looked like a good way to get fit and learn a martial art at the same time. I have now been training at Allan's class for two years, I am working my way through the belts and I have competed at competitions in Scotland and England alongside other students from the club. I would recommend it to everyone.

My dad and I have been students with Allan Lusk for 4.5 years and in that time we have both achieved our black belts. Currently training for second dan. We have only achieved this because of the excellent instruction, training strategy and positive encouragement from Allan.

my 10 year old son james has been training with allan for a year and he loves it. Allan is a top class instructor and i would recomend his school as he is not in it for the money he does it for the love of the sport and he passes that on to his students. He is top class.

Excellent Instructor, who has taught students to the level of World Champion, European Champion, All National and Domestic Titles Have been won By members of this Club. As a parent and myself having been around the Martial Art Scene for year's, I can recomend this club to new,intermediate, and advanced students The irvine club is by far the best club

My son went to another martial arts school for two years, he has been at Allan's club for 6 months now

And the change in him is incredible. My son has became a lot better at his martial arts with Allan being his instructor he always has time for the kids and makes it fun aswell as disciplined.

I cannot fault alllan in anyway he is a great instructor and is there too help the student aswell as the parent if they have any problems.

My son cannot wait to go to his classes and always smiles and has fun.

Our eleven year old boy has been attending Alan Lusk TKD for four years and loves every class.Alan is a very patient instructor who is always willing to help any class members who are struggling with any aspects of their training.

Alan has many years experience and does a great job passing this on to his students.

No better place to study than with Allan Lusk

I have 3 kids that are taught by Allan,two are 5 and my eldest is 7 they started just over 2 years ago and have loved going to his class every since the first session. Allan has a fantastic attitude, lots of patience and has a great way with the kids, he is always more than happy to answer any questions the kids or adults have and has a great way of keeping the kids focused and enjoying the class while learning, there is always a friendly atmosphere in the class and i would not hesitate to recommend Allan as an insturctor to anyone and i am completely comfortable with having my children in his class, another big bonus with Allan Lusk TaeKwonDo is that there is NO DIRECT DEBITS so you only pay for the classes you or your kids attend which is very unlike lots of other clubs out there these days.

Allan is a fabulous teacher and has a lot of experience to pass on. It is a great place for kids to train at and my daughter enjoys going there.

A great place to come and learn new skills and get fit. No matter what age.

Allan is an excellent instructor with a first class background in both the physiacl (sparring) and technical (patterns) aspects of TaeKwonDo. He takes time with all students of whatever age to develop their skills to the best of their ability. This is testified by the club recently being placed first at the Scottish Championship.

Having set up his school 5 years ago he has now brought through a number of students to black belt stage with a number more now preparing to progress to that level in the near future.

Mr Allan Lusk has been exceptional in teaching the children/adults.

He is always willing to help the children and has an ability to make them feel at ease before any gradings and always has time if they require some extra help and never makes them feel uneasy if they are struggling with aspect of the class.

The atmosphere during his classes are relaxed and the children / adults can ask him questions ,he is always polite and well mannered instructor.

The classes have a friendly atmosphere and all students are friendly and polite of which is down to the instructor.

I would recommend this club and Instructor to anyone as I have seen a few clubs over the years and this is by far the best I have witnessed.

Excellent taekwondo training from exerienced and highly qualified instructor, with many local, national and international titles under his belt you are guaranteed quality tuition.

I used Allan after giving up TKD because of a bad knee injury. It had been some time since I had done any exercise but Allan was very understanding and found it easy to structure my movements and training around my limitations.

Allan seemed to be able to see everything from my knee's perspective and im really enjoying TKD again.

I would have no hesitation recommending Allan.
