Since the club opened in April 2008, it has regularly produced a 50% A pass rate (the highest possible standard at gradings, and has never dropped below 30% above average standard. No one has ever failed a grading. The emphasis is on achieving the very best a student can produce. The grading examiner for the South West, Master Michael Dew 8th Dan, has commented in the past, that of all the gradings he presides over, the gradings that Bude students attend has the highest standard.
The clarity of instruction, and class content are easy to follow and the class atmosphere is a friendly one.
