Welcome to Bedford Martial Arts Shinpi Izumi. Here at Shinpi Izumi we teach various styles of martial art, but focus mainly on Goshin Ju Jutsu combined with more traditional forms.
We believe in the perfection of technique. We are not a school that gives out grades every few weeks as we don't believe that becoming a "sho-dan" in a few months is a possibility, no matter how much you have paid. We don't work like that, you do not pay to be graded every few weeks, once you have been recognised for displaying your ability and technique, then and only then do you receive your belt.
In short, if you truly want to learn to become a proficient and skillful martial artist and you do not care about your belt, then come to us. However if you want to pay out a fortune to become a "black belt" in few weeks , then we're probably not the school you're looking for, but come along for a months free trial anyhow to see the difference.
