Black dragon teaches traditional Shaolin kung fu, Wing Chun & Qi Gong. Black Dragon Bicester is run by Sifu Lewis Thomson. Shifu Lewis Thomson started training under Master Clive Spring chief instructor at the Black Dragon academy at the age of 15. Shifu Lewis has now been studying kung fu and wing chun for 11 years with Master Clive. He has traveled to Asia on a number of occasions to train and expand his knowledge of martial arts, also attending seminars with some of the best martial arts masters In England. Shifu lewis has competed at national level and has won numerous awards.
Wing Chun Is a self defence and close quarter combat system, it teaches to use sensitivity and speed to beat the opponent. Wing Chun is easy to learn as you don't have to be strong or flexible, it relies on speed and technique. Wing chun is very effective for women to learn for self defence.
Shaolin Kung Fu is a Chinese martial arts system, the training is harder because of the low stances and unusual movements. Shaolin monks created kung fu by studying the movements of animals. Kung fu training involves stretching and strength exercises as well as fighting techniques, also qi-gongs are practised to build up chi (internal energy).
