We are Braintree Aiki Budo Kai, a Club set in the heart of rural Essex teaching traditional Aikido. We are a friendly and committed club dedicated to the teaching of the martial art of Aikido. We have a purpose built air conditioned dojo that is open all year.
We have been established since 1997. Our Senior Instructor, Clive MacDonald- 5th Dan- training started in 1969 and has recently retired from the mat. Training is now led by Owen Bolton- 4th Dan.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Braintree Aiki Budo Kai:
We train 3 times per week:
Sunday morning 10-12
Monday and Wednesday evenings 7.30-9.30
Training fees- £5 per 2hr session
Annual insurance £15.50 Adult, £12:50 U16's/students
Annual membership fee £50 Adult, £40 U16's/students
Minimum age 12 years old.
