Karate is the perfect martial art for kids to learn, teaching them self-defence and anti-bullying skills, and at the same time developing kid’s concentration, discipline, and self-confidence.
Classes are taught in a child-friendly way for boys and girls aged 5-13.
Taught by a fully qualified Black Belt master, with over 30 years experience of teaching children Karate. DBS (CRB) checked.

Classes are held every Wednesday 5-5.55 pm in the Sydenham Centre, Park Way in Bridgwater, Somerset. There is a Google Map on our What Do I Do Next page on our website to help you find us. For safety we close the door about ten past, so if you are late simply knock.
We take beginners from 5 years old upwards. Currently, the 5-5.55 class is for all ages, and then the Secondary School aged kids remain for an extra 30 min to do more complicated Karate.
Children pay £4.90 per lesson payg (£7.90 payg for two kids from the same family). This keeps it simple and you don’t have to pay for lessons you can’t attend. It also means that there is no complicated direct debit to set up and cancel. Our classes keep to the school timetable, so we are open when the schools are open.
