Bridlington Wing Chun Kung Fu is now enjoying its 20th year providing training in Bridlington as part of the Northern Wing Chun Kung Fu Association, and is currently run by Sifu Matt Isaacs.

Our classes remain at a modest size, providing personal supervision from our instructors, both of whom are qualified under The Northern Wing Chun Kung Fu Association, and have accompanied Sifu Colin Ward several times in his visits to the VTAA in Hong Kong, enabling them to train personally with Grandmaster Ip Chun and his students.

Sifu Matt Isaacs – Head Instructor of the club and a qualified Master of Wing Chun, Sifu Isaacs has been with the club from the very beginning, and is one of Sifu Colin Ward's most senior students.

Theo Cross – With more than 11 years' experience, Theo has earned a Black Sash and is a qualified Instructor of Wing Chun.

Programs & Class Schedule

Classes are on Tuesday evenings 7pm-9pm, class fees are £6 per session. Students must be over 16 years of age. Please contact us in advance to arrange your Beginners Course.

We aim to provide a safe, friendly and relaxed environment for our students to train - the practice of Wing Chun cultivates important self-defense skills, but it should also be a process that provides us with fun and entertainment, and gives us the chance to learn more about ourselves.

Classes are held at our new venue on the First floor of The Power House on Brett Street in Bridlington. The room has all the necessary equipment for training, including an in-house Mook Yan Jong (Wooden Dummy).
