At Brighton Wing Chun School we teach the full Ip Man Wing Chun system. Open Hand forms Siu Nim Tau ( Little Idea ), Chum Kiu ( Seeking Brdige Form ), Biu Tze ( Darting Fingers Form ),Muk Yan Chong ( Wooden Dummy Form ),Saam Sing Chong ( 3 Star Dummy Form) plus the weapons forms Luk Dim Poon Kwan ( Six and a Half Point Pole Form) and Bart Cham Dao Forms( 8 Slashing Knives Form ). Classes are taught in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and are tailored to match the requirements of individual students.
Sifu Steve Poskitt has been training in martial arts since 1973, initially with the Taoist art of Feng Shou under the late Master Chee Soo. After moving to Brighton and training in a variety of arts including Pak Mei, Taekwondo, Zen Chuan and Nam Pai Chuan he started the Brighton Wing Chun School alongside Sifu Chris Connah in 2008. Training under Sifu Wes Hussey at WCK UK and currently studying for the 7th Level Practioner Grade in the system.
