Inspiring place to learn Martial Arts

I started training just over a year ago at the Budo Foundation, Stroud Dojo. It has been an amazing experience and I have come on such a long way in a short space of time. The instructors are very friendly and make all of their work accessible to students. All in all, a top quality dojo.

I've trained with Budo for 10 years and the school just keeps getting better as it gets bigger. A really great atmosphere to train and learn in.

The guys at the Budo Foundation have changed my life!
I've been training with them a long time now and couldn't imagine my life without them.
There no hostility, you'r always welcomed to smiling faces !
The school's standards are very high, and Discipline is a key factor to every martial art, but every session i get one 2 one training with one of the Sensei, not your standard " stand in a line and all shout while punching" type of schools!
definitely worth recommending to anyone new to martial arts!
We found Gary Gregory, aka Asari, and The Budo Foundation through a friend (who has a black belt in kick boxing) . I had asked them to find a good Kung Fu Class for my 7 year old daughter, which would teach her the physical moves, minus the mind control ethic some schools seem to include.
We met Asari and Darren Sen, and we were made very welcome and felt instantly reassured . I walked with two sticks and had balance issues after being recently diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease, and when I explained that we were just there to check out the Class for my daughter, Asari suggested I do it with her. I was astounded, it felt impossible. But he expressed supreme confidence that he could teach me, and it could only help my balance and general fitness issues.
I cannot overstate how important my decision to follow his advice was and the positive affect it's had on our lives. My daughter learned how to protect herself and subsequently grew in confidence. We both got fitter and have made some dear friends. I became stronger and more stable, now walk (and run!) unaided and we have achieved 3 Belts.
The whole experience has been challenging, rewarding and great fun.
I could not recommend this School more highly.
