Have been attending Martin's classes since April 2015. As the headline states 'No Ego's. ......... which can be of putting if you are new to TBD. Martin delivers excellent tuition of his subject and has the patience to run through moves & techniques until the student is happy, regardless of level.
Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to take up TBD at Cwmbran.

I enjoy the training at Cwmbran class, good mixture of students, first class instructor with a wealth of knowledge. The principles and techniques shown are straight to the point, not fancy techniques just for show. If you want to learn skills to get you out of a confrontational situation, this is the organisation to go to.
it doesn’t teach you anything i’d consider effective, doesn’t teach you any jujitsu. the people were very friendly and i felt very welcome, but i wouldn’t go here if you wanted to learn self defence or a SPORT. the technique conssissted a lot of someone moving towards you slowly or them leaving their arm out (pretty much) just to let you do something. it is unlike any other self defence class i’ve attended before, and this isn’t because it’s good. i have learned more in 15 minuits than i have in 2 hours with them. Although they were kind to me i’m here to review the class. I went to one lesson and wasted 2 hours DON’T listen to that rubish that you need to spend a long time here (in 2 hours i’ve learned next to nothing). this doesn’t deserve to be called a self defence class. (i repeat)PLEASE DON’T GO HERE HOPING TO LEARN SELF DEFENCE OR A SPORT.
