My son has attended Taekwondo for the last 10 years where he has had excellent coaching from Mr and Mrs Matthews.

He gained his 1st Dan about 2 years ago. This was something I never thought I'd see. My son has learning difficulties and over the past 10 years he has learnt so much from his dedicated instructors Mr and Mrs Matthews.

The classes are full of knowledge and are fun. The standard of teaching is superior and both Mr and Mrs Matthews are full of passion for taekwondo and enjoy passing on there knowledge and experience to there students.

My son has been lucky enough to be selected for the Taekwondo European Championships for the past 2 years and taken part in many other competitions and tournaments. This has all be possible by the amazing coaching and nurturing which Mr and Mrs Matthews have given to there students.

I'd recommend this class to all ages.

I have been training in this school since the age of 6 (15 years ago). The teaching in the school is of the highest quality, running and adapting classes for children and adults. Since starting in the club I have gained my 2nd Dan black belt and have represented my country in the 4 nations, European and world championships under the instruction and coaching of the taekwondo teachers at this school. It has also helped me improve my confidence, communication and behavioral skills which have day to day applications and have helped me to develop as a person.

As A family myself and my children have trained at a few taekwondo schools in the South Wales area. Last year we moved to this excellent club.

For us to train at a club where you are encouraged and supported is a new experience for us.

The whole family has rediscovered how much they enjoy this sport.

An Excellent school with Excellent, Experienced, ful of technical knowledge Instructors.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to take up this wonderful sport.

Myself and my 2 children joined Cyncoed club 6 months ago following personal recommendation from another student about the club.

We were welcomed openly by the club students and 2 fantastic and highly experienced senior belt instructors, Mr and Mrs Matthews. Whose passion for teaching Taekwon Do and immense patience is evident.

All three of us have developed significantly in the last 6 months despite us all being at totally different belt levels and ages within the same senior class. With expert tuition and guidance we have all gained in confidence while having great fun and keeping really fit!

I would highly recommend these classes to anyone of any age, experience or fitness level that want to have fun and train with friendly fellow students and instructors.
