I am the Head instructor at D.I.G. (Dai Ichi Gakko)
The club is dedicated to teaching Aikikai Aikido. Our Shihan (head instructor) Is Yasou Kobayashi who was a 5th generation Uchi Deshi (live in student) of "O" Sensei (the founder of Aikido)so we teach the real thing!
We are a very open and friendly club and do not accept aggressive/competitive students.
Aikido is for every one and is not a fighting art. We teach defensive/life skills to aid you in every day life.
Dai Ichi Gakko Aikido is an excellent club that's run by experienced Aikidoka (aikido practitioners!), the main instructor has been training for over 20 years and they are part of the Kobayshi federation which is affiliated to the Aikikai (the main governing body of Aikido worldwide). They have full insurance and are nice, friendly people.
