Chinese martial arts training in the heart of the Midlands. We try to bring authentic training to you. Yes it's martial arts but it is also much more. Strength, coordination, endurance.. all benefits of martial arts training. Some people come because they like the contact, others because it's a fun way to get a bit of exercise. We want to help you achieve your goals, whatever they might be. You don't need a lot of kit. We don't sell you anything you don't need, FULL STOP! This is a club for exercise, fun and a chance to experience Chinese martial arts. We aren't a full on business and would rather not take your money if we aren't what serves your goals/needs.
We teach a variety of martial systems, complete with both open hand and weapons training. It is our mission to continue the Toisan traditions and so our emphasis is on practicality and authentic techniques, striving to be better today than we were yesterday. We are dedicated to the fighting arts and we push our students to be respectful, humble and the best practitioners they can be.
If you are interested in some fitness, learning a martial art or perhaps something different to keep your mind working then consider coming to a class. First class is free. Wear loose clothing (arms bare please) shirt, sweats or shorts and sneakers/trainers. Training varies between pair work, solo work, sparring and weapons training. Classes are mixed for men and women. Everyone works safely at their one level.
