Seems cheap but it's not.

I think £40 for an Asda polo shirt and a pair of pants is extortion, which is the uniform apparently required. There are other costs which are higher than average (insurance and grading).

Excellent place to learn and get fit

I was a member of this gym for 2 years and enjoyed every moment of it.

Dave is a very good instructor and not only taught techniques, but also made it an enjoyable experience.

The training is really up to you, you aren't pressured into anything that you don't want to do. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the people are very friendly. Age ranges vary from children to adults and so do the intensity of work outs depending on what you want to do.

I was at my fittest during my 2 years there, the only reason I stopped was because I just started university and the workload meant that I didn't have much time to spare, but that's just me.

Whether you want to learn self defense techniques, learn various disciplines of martial arts or just get fit, this is definitely the place to do it.
