Derwent Jujitsu was founded at Sherwood Hall Matlock 25 years ago, Renshi Rokudan 6th dan John Boden leads the group with 2 other sensei's running the club at Belper Leisure Centre.
John has spent most of his life taking part in combat arts competing in Olympic Wrestling at Midlands area National and England International level, Judo, Karate and lastly Jujitsu for over 33 years.
We teach to all levels from age 7 years upwards.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Derwent Jujitsu Academies:
Class at Belper Leisure Centre, on Thursdays 5.15 registration-5.30 on the mat until 6.45 ages 7 to 16 years.
Seniors 16+ 5.15 registration-5.30 on the mat until 7.15.
At half term holidays we run senior training only, to enhance learning for students, coaches and dan grades.
