Evesham Aikido

We offer traditional Aikido including weapons training using bokken and Jo. The club is run by Tony Waknell Sensei (2nd Dan black belt - Aikikai).

We are a small friendly club and recently created following a re-location from Taunton due to a job change.

Evesham Aikido is part of Itai Doshin Aikido Club in Taunton, Somerset and is fully affiliated with Owari Aikikai in Japan and subsequently Honbu registered. Our head instructor in Japan is Seizo Takimoto Shihan (8th Dan) and our technical director in Japan is Toshiaki Kawachi Sensei (6th Dan).
