Forge Shotokan was Established in 1983 by Stuart Hughes. Forge’s current dojo is located at Stoke Prior Village Hall in Bromsgrove, with larger classes and courses taking place at Aston Fields Middle School in Bromsgrove.
With over 40 years of karate experience, Sensei Hughes has trained with, and graded under, many top instructors, and the club has produced regional champions. A core number of high graded students currently make up the senior class, with kyu grades and beginners also welcome at all classes.
Forge welcomes students from all Shotokan groups to come and train, and actively encourage other styles to come and train to gain mutual understanding and learning opportunities.
