Gloucester Aikido Club comprises three dojos - one at Wynstone's School, Gloucester, one at Stroud Leisure Centre, Stratford Park, Stroud and the third at Tetbury Leisure Centre, Tetbury, Gloucestershire. All three clubs are well established within Gloucestershire and we have a total of 7 Dan grade instructors, all of whom hold British Aikido Board certified instructor qualifications.
Classes are typically 2 hours in duration and we train on Tuesday evenings at Wynstone's School, Wednesday evenings at Tetbury and Sunday mornings at Stroud Leisure Centre.
All three of our clubs are affiliated to the British Aikido Board through our membership of the Go Shin Kai Association . Go Shin Kai has links to Hombu Dojo in Japan (the world headquarters for Aikido) and our teaching and practice closely follows the art as laid down by the founder Morihei Ueshiba.
