Iaido is not for everyone, perhaps that is why this club is so small. Based on the teachings of the late Iwata Sensei, this group tries to keep alive his direct lineage of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaido. This club has friendly, very knowledgeable instructors who help the individual to learn the art. It is not easy, but to some of us it is very enjoyable and satisfying. A very small close group who are members of Eikoku Roshukai, the U. K. branch of Iwata Sensei's Japanese organisation.
Iaido is a demanding Martial Art with emphasis both on technique and study. This Dojo has the structure within the main organisation (Eikoku Roshukai) to train with Japanese Sensei visiting the UK. Training at Arfon Leisure Centre every Sunday afternoon at 1pm for only a couple of quid. Style of swordmanship studied is Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu as handed down personally to the instructors from Iwata Norikazu. the Kaicho of Zenkoku Roshukai.
