I have been going here for a few months now, I started as I saw how much my son was enjoying it!

Leon is extremely good at what he does and compassionate towards his surroundings ( different students have different needs )

Would highly recommend Harrogates Jujitsu/Goshin Ryu Ju Jitsu Kai!

By far the best club I've been to!! Instructor is superb and the club has a very non-threatening atmosphere for a newcomer. Brilliant!!!

I am an experienced martial artist and have trained at many schools, but none compare to the quality of instruction that students receive at Harrogate Jujitsu!

Sensei Leon is a true Master of the art and delivers serious quality instruction with a fun friendly twist.

I have noticed at some other schools the lack of one to one instruction from instructors to students. This is certainly not the case with Leon as he trains with his students giving them plenty of one to one tuition so as to bring the best out of everyone.

I thought Jujitsu may be just for lads young ones at that. This is definitely not the case. Leon welcomes both sexes and all ages. The disciplines learned are a great way to feel confident and obtain a high level of fitness and stamina, in a fun way. Far better than being inside a gym with that 'bored and watching the clock feeling'. The time goes very quickly which is definitely a good sign. After just 3 weeks my level of fitness and co-ordination has improved immensely. The club is in a central location , loads of parking around. Give it a go!!!

you will be hard pushed to beat this club,fantastic instructer 7th dan,all is good and professional here a great ju jitsu + mix of martial arts and cardio and stamina training too 5***** quality club try it you will not be dissapointed...!! get yr self there.

I run my own Martial Arts classes, but get to train with Sensei Leon whenever possible.

He is a very good Instructor who is well rounded in various martial arts.

I have trained with Leon Donnelly for three years now. He is an excellent Sensei who makes training enjoyable and challenging in a safe environment. My sons have trained here since they were 9 and 11 and they are now working for their Black Belts. I am very happy to recommend our club to anyone who has trained in the past or who would like to start.

I have been training with Leon for 18 months now and find the training to be excellent. We study traditional JJ but also mix it up now and again with BJJ or Thai techniques.

In the past I have trained with many different instructors in different styles and can honestly say Leon is one of the best.

I now take my six year old boy down to train there in the Junior class and he loves it.. and sleeps very well after class :)

Students are aged 15 - 40's and of all ranks and abilities.

Come down, make friends, work hard and have some fun.
