Based in Brynmawr and serving the surrounding communities of South Wales, Heads of the Valleys Tang Soo Do is a dynamic and inclusive martial arts school dedicated to teaching authentic Tang Soo Do in a friendly, disciplined, and supportive environment. Led by Fourth Dan Black Belt Angus Rogers, the school combines traditional Korean karate principles with modern training methods to develop confidence, fitness, and practical self-defence skills in students of all ages.
We offer structured classes for children, teens, and adults, as well as specialist programs for neurodivergent students and complete beginners. With over 200 active members and a growing reputation for quality instruction, our dojang is proud to be part of the British Combat Association and actively involved in the wider martial arts community, hosting seminars with renowned instructors such as Iain Abernethy.
