Jado Kuin Do Harpenden is a Family Martial Arts School based in Southdown. Located within the Southdown Methodist Church Halls will easy access at the back from the Cooperative Car Park.
Classes run on a Monday night, 6 pm for under 12s, 7 pm for over 12s and adults.

Jado Kuin Do provides family martial arts classes to students aged 3 to 65. Based on Kickboxing and Kung Fu, Jake Ogden formed the organisation in 2000: we have over 10 years of experience in the martial arts and self-defence sector. The Harpenden academy opened in 2014.
The academy offers specific classes to students, which are designed to meet the specific needs of different age groups. With a spacious dojo, the business also has fully qualified instructors enabling students to improve their health, coordination and confidence. All instructors are CRB checked.
The academy is run by Mark Owen-Ward who has been working in the martial arts and self-defense business for over five years and also runs the St Albans club. Having previously trained at Master Jake Ogden’s instructor classes, Mark Owen-Ward is a fully certified, licensed and insured to run the academy.
