This is a small but well equipped dojo.the style allows for a varied spectrum of learning and requires a good level of fitness.New students are actively encouraged to train to there maxium potential.this style of martial arts is permanently evolving but still holds true to dojo etiquette. All the instructors are approachable and regular students are very friendly. The club holds regular social events for all club members and families. If you are looking for something different from your regular training regime I highly recommend this club.

This is a great club. Renshi Craig Bailey is a very knowledgeable and experienced instructor who is able to cater to individual needs to ensure you get the best out of each lesson.
I have seen a marked increase in general fitness and feel we learn a very well rounded martial art with the inclusion of 3 styles in our training.
I have trained at and been a member of this Ryu for several years having not done any Martial Arts for fourteen years. I found all the members and instructors to be very welcoming. The style itself is not that easy to pick up due to it being a combination style. This, in turn, makes it more interesting and challenging. The sessions are very physical with a good length of warm up circuit training to help enhance stamina. The techniques are well taught with enough instructors to allow for individual instruction when required. It is good to see a difficult style being tackled by both men and women. Gradings generally take place about every 12 months so grade progress is not rapid. This does, however, reflect the complexity of the style.
This club is well worth a visit and you will always be welcomed.
