KAPAP is the forefather to Krav Maga. A fast learning self defence / street survival system taught to the Israeli army, special forces and special police units. Techniques we teach are proven on the battle fields of the world. KAPAP is known as a bridge system that borrow all the good aspects of traditional martial art styles and adapts them to work harder in the application of self defence.
The system has been adapted for civilian life, so what we teach works within UK law. Students can come from all backgrounds from the keen martial artist, police officers, door supervisors, care workers to the house wife. We specialise in defending against multiple attackers, edge weapons, firearms, punches, kicks, locks, holds and chokes.
Classes are taught by Brett Mackenzie. He has studied many martial arts over the years but has chosen KAPAP because of it's purity of purpose and is not bogged down by traditions, politics and big ego's. Having served with the British army (Infantry) and several security roles he understands the need to keeping things simple and direct. KAPAP is perfect for this and evolves constantly for the threats of the modern world.
