Kokoro Kyokushinkai Karate
Kokoro is a Kyokushinkai Karate club based in Bishops Stortford. The dojo is run by Liam Keaveney and was opened in 1994. Training consists of Kihon (basics or fundamentals i.e. blocks/strikes) , Kata (to preserve and transmit proven techniques and to practice self-defence) , Kumite (controlled sparring), Bag work and also fitness and conditioning. Through regular training at Kokoro your fitness levels will improve together with technique and power.
Liam Keaveney is a 7th Dan black belt and has been training and teaching Kyokushinkai Karate since 1973. He is the British Karate Kyokushinkai Chairman, Secretary General of the International Federation of Karate, and President of the Irish Karate Kyokushinkai. He also is editor of Kyokushin Magazine.

Programs & Class Schedule
Training days/times are as follows
Monday 6 pm - 7 pm and 7 pm to 8.30 pm (Adults)
Wednesday 6 pm - 7 pm and 7 pm to 8.30 pm (Adults)
Other styles are welcome to train no matter what your level.
If you don’t own a Karate Gi, then shorts and a t-shirt will be suitable.
Please bring along a bottle of water.
