Adam Lawrie, founder of the Kaikatsudo Martial Arts system, was born and raised in Medway, Kent. He has studied martial arts from the age of 13 and is proficient in many forms of martial arts, specifically Karate, Kung Fu and Tai Chi.
Having Grown up in the Medway Towns, Adam Lawrie is all too aware of the issues facing parents and children living in Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham. With this in mind Adam Lawrie wanted to give something back to the people of Medway and all the kids looking for something worthwhile to do that won't get them into trouble!
Utilising his years of experience in studying and teaching martial arts specialising in Karate, Kung Fu and Tai Chi both in the UK and internationally. Adam Lawrie decided to open his own club to enable him to pass on his knowledge gained through long hours of study and training to all those who wish to learn. In February 2013 Adam Lawrie opened his first martial arts club in Strood, Medway, Kent; offering martial arts tuition for adults, martial arts tuition for children and martial arts based Tai Chi for all.
