Karate Academy Scotland
Karate Academy Scotland is an established local club, teaching the traditional martial art of Shotokan karate for over 25 years. This involves basic karate technique (kihon), set form and free partner work (kumite) and patterns (kata). There is a strong emphasis on the application of technique both in kumite and in the application of kata technique (bunkai). Karate can help to develop confidence, co-ordination, balance, working together and respect for others.
