I've found Keiryu Pracical Karate great for what I wanted from a Karate class. They deal with real life situations always with different options e. g breaking holds and different moves against body sizes. It's full contact which is great for getting the feeling of a real fight situations. They draw from many different styles and types of martial art (not just karate) which I really like as I feel like I'm better able to defend myself and it feels more well rounded.
