The only kendo dojo in Cumbria, we train twice weekly in Dalton-in-Furness. Training is run by Dave Yates (kendo 3rd dan, first aider, DBS certified).
Kendo is a japanese art based around using a sword. We wear protective clothes and use safe training weapons (shinai) so we can train safely.
We run beginners' courses every few months, just check our website to find out when the next one begins. Any questions just get in touch!
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Ko En kendo Kai:
Thursdays 19:00-21:00
Sundays 13:00-15:00
Please ensure you can attend at least one session per week during your first four weeks, otherwise you risk missing out on new material as it is introduced.
