Kobujitsu International - Angmering
Welcome to Kobujitsu!. We believe in simple, honest effective martial arts for the sole purpose of giving our students applicable self defence skills when they need it. With knife crime and street violence on the rise, we brought together a modern day system to give our students the skills and mindset to finalise conflict fast.
Forming our own system allowed us to bring effective self defence techniques at lower belt ranks and build in throws, chokes, grapples, locks, takedowns and restraints in a practical and applicable way to build training experience.
Sensei Hughes has been training in Martial Arts for almost three decades and a recognised 3rd Dan in Kobujitsu. He has run Martial Arts in Angmering for 15 years and a firm believer in Quality Safe Martial Arts. The School is OFMAR Registered and he is recognised and approved by the Martial Art Conduct Authority who have externally verified First Aid, Chief Instructor, Safeguarding, Insurance and DBS Checks.

Martial Art Styles
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Kobujitsu International - Angmering:
Programs & Class Schedule
Over 10s only
Tuesday - 6,30 pm - 8 pm - technical training
Friday - 6 pm - 7,30 pm - physical application training
Both classes include elements of teaching, fitness, stamina, conditioning, pad, shield and kata work
System also includes for Brown Belts+, Knife defence, Baton/Stick, Tonfa, Gun defence, Sai, Bokken, Bo Staff however offensive use of weapons is restricted to over 16s.
Also at Storrington Village Hall on Mondays
We offer two free classes as a 'no obligation taster'; a pay per class option, monthly direct transfer facility and subs are capped for unlimited training. We also offer family discounts so there is no excuse for kick starting your New year promises now!
