I have been attending Kookateki Judo Club for five years, and achieved my first Dan black belt in September 2014. The Kookateki coaching staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and always encouraging. The atmosphere in the club is light-hearted and fun, making the sometimes daunting task of learning complex techniques much more enjoyable. Judo is a fantastic martial art to take part in, for children and adults. It helps me keep fit, and provides a welcome release of the day to day pent up stresses. You don't have to be a young, fit, super-athlete to enjoy the sport of judo; go as hard or as easy as suits your age, body type, and level of fitness.
