The koryu kyudokan isn't your average dojo. If your sole purpose is to keep fit, meet new people and learn a little bit of self defence; go somewhere else. Seriously this isn't for you. However if your serious about learning how to protect yourself and your loved ones then speak to one of the instructors here. It is a full contact dojo. Make no mistake you will get punched, kicked and thrown about. Unfortunately if you want to learn about how to protect yourself in a violent situation, you have to train in a violent way. Let's be honest you cant learn how to swim if you don't get wet. The tuition provided is of the highest standard and everyone who studies here are serious about their study. But they are also very friendly, supportive and welcoming (It's isn't Coba Kai!). You don't need to have any previous experience to train here, as long as your aware of what they do and you have the correct mind set give it a go. The Dojo itself is a very traditional Okinawan dojo, with modern amenities. It also has all the training equipment you need to develop your martial skills. If your interested contact them.
