Kyushin Ryu Ju Jitsu Association is the longest established Ju Jitsu group in Kent, they were formed in 1973 and all of the instructors have been taught from within the association. All are DBS registered and NVQ qualified.
Although the primary focus is on teaching traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu, there is also coverage of Ground-Fighting, Atemi Jitsu (strikes) and Kobudo (traditional weapons). This approach reinforces the principle of Japanese Ju Jitsu being a 'complete' martial art.
Sensei Dave Haddell, the club instructor, is a 5th Dan Black Belt with over 25 years experience in the association and one of the Association senior coaches.
