As a parent you simply don’t know about amateur boxing clubs, the alliance are not regulated or official, they don’t have their clubs vetted, visited and they don’t have safety policy’s in place. I feel absolutely duped by taking my Reggie to an alliance club.

They are not proper amateur boxing clubs so any parent reading this ! Avoid !

Do you research into proper England Boxing Clubs.

Below are the only active alliance clubs.

There are only 97 clubs in total with only 23 clubs putting on shows, so it’s the same clubs putting on shows.

Boxers compete against the same boxers.

When joining a club ask to see the England Boxing certificate for the season, full DBS, England boxing coaching certificates and safeguarding / also you can check on club finder on the national governing bodies website.

The clubs below are not officials clubs and have not recognised by sport England, England boxing or government.

The alliance senior national championships

Only 82 boxers !!

Over 2000 boxers will enter the same tournament on England Boxing.

Below are some of the clubs who entered the alliance senior national championships ! They would have also fit straight finals with boxers wrongly calling themselves national champions, this makes a mockery of real hard fought England Boxing championships.

England Boxing & sport England again urge MPs to ban the unregulated alliance, there have been calls for the corrupt Keith Walters to step down.

The alliance clubs are suffering and closing with central funds from sport England and the national governing body withheld.

The alliance as they’re like to be known are unlicensed and unregulated, they have 90 clubs across the UK compared to the National Governing Bodies England Boxing 970 official regulated clubs.

Each England boxing club & coaches are properly vetted and there’s now calls to government to ban the white collar association the alliance under alarms regarding child safety with ex criminals, drug dealers, a serious organised criminals being involved in the alliance as they have a lesser vetting process.

The coaching courses are not recognised apart from within the alliance and we have discovered they have no safeguarding and allow online first aid.

In some cases coaches and clubs that have been removed from England Boxing due to not maintaining standards and putting children at risk in sparring or not passing the vetting by DBS have now gone to the alliance.

Beware of The Alliance

Not sanctioned

Not legal

Not recognised boxing

Not the national governing body

Unlicensed

Unregulated

Coaches are not vetted to the same standards as England Boxing, the alliance have coaches who sell drugs, been in prison, committed crimes of violence.

Telling kids they’re boxing for England when it’s just a club from Spain !

Lying and fooling parents !

Most important thing to remember is they’ve ruined the boxing career to 1000s of children who can now not box for their country or become a pro.

I attended a session only to find out they were with the Alliance, which is not England boxing!!

So you can’t compete in national competitions well the official ones ! They’d have you believe winning the schools on alliance is good !

No of the coaches are vetted like England Boxing.

I attended a boxing show which I was lead to believe was amateur boxing ! Only to find out it was no better than white collar boxing ! They call it amateur boxing but it was run by the alliance which are not amateur boxing in the uk they’re unlicensed white collar Boxing. Absolute disgrace that they’re conning the public at these shows.

No London finals

No Southern Counties

No Eastern Counties

No national titles

Boxers getting the same bouts, winning schools, junior, youths and seniors titles on one bout.

Absolute joke.

The national governing body England Boxing refers to the alliance as White Collar Boxing.

I boxed for the Lynn and it was an amazing club and since 2016 being with the Alliance it has been ruined, no equipment, bad condition, poor coaching and the club that I once loved is now sadly the worst club in the area.
