Bullying , high pressure money orientated, no respect if you leave

I found the co owner, Mrs Blinston more obnoxious than the “master”

If you want to leave to tell the truth about the club they try to discredit you using

Any means possible, the word “nonse “ is one of her personal favourites

If you pay in steps the pressure to pay more is unreal

If you leave without paying the contracts you get threatening letttes

If you show friendship to other parents or students they stamp on it

You can’t pass equipment down to siblings

They fake or hide bad reviews as slanderous, another fave word of the “black belt wide”

Steer clear, don’t give any card details you will regret it

Expensive and overrated!

I tried hard at this ‘academy’ but came away totally disillusioned. The expense you are expected to find is outrageous and unaffordable to most working class people. Graduations every six weeks and insurance are all on top of your tuition fees.

Specialist subjects such as tai chi and numb chucks training are even costlier. The instructor is not adverse to humiliating students as I found personally.

If you fail to attend then you are downgraded at graduations and no refund will be forthcoming. If absent through sickness or holidays you are promised ‘catch up’ lessons. These are never forthcoming.

I was astounded at the number of parents of students who were not happy with the instructors attitude and fees.

All about the contract and how much they can make

Unprofessional meatheads, just want your hard earned cash, avoid at all costs. Search for a club with a coach that cares and doesn't try to 'sell' you and tie you down with paperwork. Not recommended.

Beware "the contract".

Tied in to a contract - still have to pay, even if your kids have tried it a few times, and don't want to go.

Black belts after 2 years!?!

Bullying members who have learning difficulties.

A genuine McDojo.

I have based this review on having met many disgruntled parents, & a member who was terrified, but daren't speak up.

Uncomfortable and awkward

I attended this "school" as a complete novice with no experience at all. I wasn't made to feel particularly included and stood awkwardly waiting for someone that would be willing to train with me. The techniques being taught seemed quite advanced to me as a novice and there was no provision made to take the time to slow it down for me and show me what I was actually supposed to be doing.

In the end I felt more of a pain in the butt and an inconvenience than a wanted and valued student and it still feels embarrassing to this day.

I attended one class and certainly won't be back.

In it for the money

Avoid. Pressures you to sign up first 'free' lesson. Expensive, all gi and equipment has to be bought through him, and is cheap and nasty. Threatening letters if you try to leave. Signs you up to a years contract first night. Uses young kids to demonstrate the techniques, while he just stands there offering no feedback.

I came here once to try something new and I most definitely did not enjoy it. The fowl smell of the instructor's feet definitely made me want some bloody lynx after I'd finished in there. Christ, you could've had six sheep shitting dog fucking cat pissing urangutang's in there and it still would've smelt better. Place needs a bloody good clean, I won't be returning.

On the bright side, you did get to hurt people for free so you won't see me complaining about that.

complete shite. instructor is a puff. He sexually harasses the boy students by gagging them with their belts. His hair looks like a porcupine shagged a skunk. Instructor gives students grief about his over weight wife. He gives out black belts after 1 week along with a free hand job. The building is infested with skunks and rabbits with rabies.
