My son has trained at MSBA form the last 8 years starting as a 5 year old. I have found that the level of instruction and enthusiasm that Master Sutherland and her extremely dedicated instuctors create is truly inspiring. Master Sutherland very much promotes through her school the dedication required to navigate through the grades but also a fun element which keeps students of all ages comming through. I would thoroughly recomend MSBA as a great place to learn and train

I started kickboxing about a year ago and haven't looked back since. Martial Arts was something I had never thought of doing untill a friend recommended it to me. I had recently lost a lot of weight and was looking for a way of keeping the weight off and improving my fitness. I have managed to do both these things. I never really thought about grading but the minute I put my white belt on, I know it needed to be a colour! The highlight of the year for me was winning the 'student of the year award ' at the awards ceremony in February. The instructors are excellent in every way. Master Sutherland in an inspirtion and shining example to all her students.

I have even to managed to get my teenage son off the couch and out the door to training with me!

I started training at MSBA Bathgate when i was a young and cute 6 year old! Now at 21 i am still dedicated to MSBA Bathgate and train extremely hard under Master Sutherland. I have also adnvanced my skills and become an assistant instructor which i love!

Tae Kwon-Do has been a major suppor system in my life. After losing my father and hitting the terrible teens, i could have ended up like many other teenagers, on the wrong path! But Tae Kwon-Do is not only a hobby but a way of life that kept me grounded and focussed in the most difficlt of times. With out TKD i dont know where i would be.

As an assistant instructor i have had the privilege of teaching many individuals and seeing them advance and grow in TKD skills but aslo life. TKD is great for confidence building, behaviour control and teaching respect but also for great fitness! The dedicated instructors at MSBA Bathgate have great social skills and many years of experience.

The Kickboxing class offers a great alternative if it is a keep fit class and sparring techniques that you look to master!

MSBA is the place to train!!

My 2 sons (aged 12 and 9) have been part of MSBA for 8 and 5 years respectively. They both love training at the Academy and I cannot recall a single instance where either of them has said that they don't want to train. The instructors command respect through their own behaviour and achievements - as well as their fun and approachable styles. At MSBA the key elements are fitness, fun, respect for others, positive attitude, respect, discipline, compassion and ambition to be the best you can be - all bases covered!

I have been training at MSBA for 16 years and highly recommend the club to any age of person - young and older. I started TKD at age 30 and soon found it a great way to get fit, become flexible, better co-ordinated, get more energy, de-stress and of course learn TKD.

MSBA is a very friendly club and the training is always challenging and rewarding. The experienced instructors have trained many champions and they will motivate and encourage you throughout your TKD journey. After all these years I still train at MSBA and very much enjoy the TKD classes.

I have many years experience of MBSA in Bathgate, firstly through my own small experience, my much more successful friends and then eventually as a parent. It has always been a place of excellence - the number of Scottish, European and World Champions that have walked through those doors is simply too long to list.

My son attended for 5 years starting on his 5th Birthday (he only stopped because we moved abroad) Master Sutherland and her team taught him skills for use in the gym as well as skills for the everyday - i honestly cannot recommend it enough.

I've known MSBA for a few years now and the quality of instruction always impresses me. Their kids classes are excellent,and the quality of the adults in the club that ave 'came through the ranks' is testament to the first class tuition by Master Sutherland and her team.
