Mark had been teaching my son for over a year now and my sons progress has been phenomenal. Mark and his wife Sharon dedicate there time for the students. My son hated exercising but Mark was so patient with him. He has started to show a great improvement.

I walked into Misoma some 5 years ago having become bored and disillusioned with martial arts. I've trained in many different styles: kickboxing (to black belt), judo, muay thai, tai chi, MMA, JKD to name but a few. I left 18 months later, due to moving when I changed jobs, having had my enthusiasm rekindled in one of the friendliest schools I have trained in. Sensei Mark's knowledge of martial arts is extensive and he is a very patient teacher; indeed one of the best I have trained with. Since leaving I have not only carried on with kickboxing but have also took up boxing at the ripe old age of 54.

I find it incredible to see such negative comments on this school. I guess people just become very brave behind a keyboard. Please don't be put off by these cowards; give the school and the sport a go. You'll enjoy it and it will make you a better, stronger and more confident person.

I have nothing but gratitude to sensi ifill and his wife for the commitment and compassion they show to their students and the encouragement.

As a student who has trained (and continues to train) with Sensei Mark Ifill for several years, I can confirm that he is a patient and attentive instructor. He thrives on helping students achieve thier own personal goals within the Martial Arts, whilst encouraging them to try their hardest to be the best that they can be. Joining MISOMA is like becoming part of a big family. The classes are fun and inspirational, and it is evident that Sensei is very passionate about the Martial Arts. Officer Mollie Miller, the review you submitted was disgraceful, as you and your child have NEVER attended one of the classes. Reviews and testimonials should be based on FACT, not FABRICATION. Submitting a review based on lies to potentially damage a club/instructors reputation is DISPICABLE and DEFAMATORY. .My children attend the classes, and I became so inspired that I started training there as well. Looking forward to the next lesson, as always!
