By being part of this club for just over a year now, my son has gained in self-confidence and self-defence whilst having fun, making new friends and increasing his fitness. A disciplined environment without being too "heavy-handed", my son would go almost every day if he could. I too joined the adult beginners class about 10 months ago. It has helped me in exactly the same way as my son and I look forward to every class. I would recommend this particular class to children and adults alike.

Excellent instructor with over 20 years experience. Very patient, thorough guidance and breaks down the technique process making it easy to pick up. Opportunities to enter various types of competitions and attend winter and summer courses. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have found David, the main Instructor to be fantastic with all ages and abilities. My son has been at the club for nearly 3 years and he really enjoys it, he often goes 3-4 times a week which leads me to say the club rates are very reasonable. I think the combination of being taught the karate skills required to progress and playing the team games is what makes for a fun and interesting learning environment where children grow in confidence and ability. I would definitely recommend this club

I have a 5yr old in this karate class and have been very impressed with the instruction. David manages to find a perfect balance between keeping things fun for the younger children but also instilling discipline and demanding respect. My son has improved his cooordination and attention since he started and loves it.

I have also joined in the adults class which is a small and intimate class for beginners. It is a relaxed class that recognizes everyone has a different fitness level. The instruction is first class and since joining I have progressed and am now competing.
