We are Wado Ryu based Karate clubs which offers a mix traditional and sport Karate. We are members of the English Karate Federation which is part of the IOC recognised World Karate Federation.
Training is tailored towards specific goals for each session whether that is traditional or sporting. We enter a squad in number of competitions every year and have a number of association representatives that have represented the EKF England team.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Mitsuru Yorkshire Karate:
We offer a free months membership to anyone wishing to try Karate but may be unsure. There is no contract or obligation either during the trial period or after.
5.30-6.00 pm Beginners age 4-9
6.00-7.00 pm Graded class (4-9) and families
6.45-7.45 pm 10 yrs+
Transition from the beginners class into the 6 pm class is not just on grading, it’s whether we feel the individual student is ready to make the transition to a bigger, more demanding class.
