The club has been running for 42 years and is the longest running club of any style in Port Glasgow. Traditional Shotokan karate affiliated to the JKA. All grading conducted by JKA instructors (Japanese).
We teach karate to the highest standards, Sensei James Downie (4th Dan) and his son Sensei David Downie (3rd Dan) have over 80+ years experience between them.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Neko-Kai Shotokan Karate JKA:
Classes are from 7 pm - 9 pm Tuesday and Thursday. Great way to keep fit and disciplined and learn defense at the same time.
