Instruction in traditional Tani-Ha Shito ryu Karate & Olympic-style sports karate by 4th dan qualified sports coach (Coach UK), fully dbs checked, EuroKF European, BKF British & Elite EKF English Referees. Affiliated to Kofukan England, EKF the only WKF & IOC International Olympic Committee recognised National Governing body in England. Instruction by Tracey Archer 4th dan Shito ryu. Traditional weaponry (Kobudo) - Sai, Bo, Tonfa & Jo instruction. Club is run on a non-profit volunteer basis - no professional instructors but professional tuition - Tracey referees on the UK & world stage for Olympic qualification events WKF K1 Premier League & Serie A, Continental & WKF World Championships. Tracey organises the hugely successful East Midlands Open Karate Championships each November with 45+ clubs from all over the UK contesting for bespoke medals in 100 Categories. Hosted by the magnificent RAF College Cranwell in Lincolnshire.

All instruction by fully qualified sports coaches - Tracey & John Wynd 4th dan. All DBS Enhanced checked, First Aid at Work, Professional & Public Liability Insured English Karate Federation Sports Coaches - many years' teaching/coaching (both young & old students) experience between them..........! Your children (or you) are in SAFE Hands.

Programs & Class Schedule

Tuesday - Fernwood Village Hall
Children 6 and over - Main Hall - 4.30 to 5.30 pm - Beginners & refreshers welcome. Parents may watch the sessions but must remain outside the immediate dojo (training hall) and must not interfere in the session in any way unless invited to by Sensei Tracey.
6.00-7.00 pm Adults only Smaller Hall - 16 & over - all grades open session for beginners, refreshers & advanced students - No Children. Please ring Tracey. Senior grades from other styles wishing to learn WKF-style sport karate rules, kumite techniques & kata most welcome. We have Shotokan and Taekwondo students including dan grades learning traditional Shito ryu & modern WKF competition karate with us.
Just call in and watch or take part. Beginners and refreshers welcome.
First class can cater for both adults and children, split where/when necessary eg parents and their children learning in parallel.
Age 6 and up to 80 catered for. Just bring loose clothing. Classes payable monthly by Standing Order (Not a direct debit) or pay per class (additional cost). Free membership. Family discounts available. If you would like yourself or your children to be part of this dynamic sport which builds self-discipline & confidence, increases flexibility, develops strength of body and mind, instils calmness under pressure and improves agility & fitness then come along and give it a go.
